What are my shipping options?

When a package is to be delivered within Canada, we will typically use CanPar as the courier of choice. However when the delivery is to a remote area, to a post office box, or an apartment building then Canada Post may be our only option and is generally an excellent choice. Speed of delivery can be dependent on the options available through CanPar and Canada Post and will vary in price.

Our experience is that CanPar will deliver to most places in Ontario and Quebec within two working days, often within one day. For locations further away in Canada, we have found that we need to allow another day for each time zone. If a package is urgently required, quicker deliveries can be arranged across Canada and overnight delivery is available to all major centres but with extra cost. Contact us or use the “comment box” during the ordering process should you have an urgent request.

Our practice is to add the cost of shipping to the total invoice (with some exceptions). Please keep in mind that shipping charges are taxable  –   based on the province where you reside. When you place your order, you will have the option of selecting different shipping methods, including the option to pick up your purchase from our physical location. However, assuming that you will use the default shipping method, the following guidelines are provided.

• When the purchase total (before tax) is less than $69.00 the shipping charge is a flat rate of $8.50 for deliveries within Canada. If to a residence, there is an additional $2.00 charge.
• When the purchase total is $69 or more (before tax) no shipping charges are assessed assuming it is being shipped to a church or business. If to a residence, there is an additional $2.00 charge.
• If an item is back-ordered and currently out of stock—with your approval—we will ship the rest of your order immediately. However, there will likely be a modest shipping charge for the back-ordered title when it is shipped. We will always notify you when this situation occurs and you will have the option of canceling your order or canceling the back-ordered portion of your order.
• Select a specific shipping option, click on the "Update" button to see what the shipping costs will be.

Choosing a shipping service

Choose CanPar when:

• Your address is a business or church
• You want it delivered to your home address and are willing to have it left at your address without a signature. There is an additional $2.00 charge for residential deliveries.
• You prefer the fastest delivery time (within Ontario and Quebec especially).

Choose Canada Post when:

• your address is a box number, a rural route or you reside in an apartment building
• your postal code has a zero in the first section of the code, e.g. R0A, V0G (except if it begins with "L")
• You would not want the package left at your address if you are not at home

Choose Cheapest when:

• You allow us to select the cheapest options when your order is not urgently required

Shipping to destinations outside of Canada will be calculated according to the specific destination. You may want to use the "Comment" field on the order basket to indicate when you require your materials – we will reply with choice of shipping options and costs.
