Just as running a race calls for proper conditioning, so an effective life of ministry involves preparation. The purpose of the 2:7 Series has been to lay that groundwork.
Upon completion of Course 5, you'll be equipped to take on responsibility in the various
ministries of your local church.
You've already developed many of the essential skills and disciplines necessary for lay
leadership, and in this course you'll
• Lead an inductive Bible study on the book of Thessalonians
• Participate in an investigative Bible study for non-Christians
• Spend a half-day in prayer with your group
• Discover how your spiritual gifts can complement the church's many ministries.
And, of course, with Course 5 comes the most important part of your training - graduation. Because the 2:7 SERIES is really only the beginning, the necessary preparation to help get you off and running on an effective Christian life.
