This series of studies has been designed specifically to help a group become a small,
closely knit community motivated and empowered to worship and serve God. Each book in the
series will help your group pursue the
mystery of God, encourage the meeting of each other's needs, and how to live practically and
genuinely in today's complex world.
9 sessions per
book. Session format: overview, on your own, group discovery, let's act, group worship. Bible
text included, final two sessions deal with personal and group application.
Any group that is completely focused on its own members and never reaches out to others
will eventually become stagnant. Like a pond with no outflow, it will cease to give life to its
inhabitants.
"As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you," Jesus told His followers (John 20:21 NIV).
But what does that really mean?
In this study, you'll explore the various aspects of being sent
into the world. What is God's agenda in the
world? What was Jesus' mission and message? As you answer
these questions, you'll uncover the very heart of God as you
discover His unique call to you as an individual and as a group.
