This is a professional development course for teachers of English to speakers of other languages. The purpose is to provide instruction and practice on how to develop a variety of critical reading strategies that is useful for academic studies. as well as opportunities for developing academic vocabulary through various learning strategies.

·     The course has twelve sessions using a combination of tasks in each session from First Century Christianity, Vol V: Developing Academic Writing Skills, discussions and learning reflections.
