Our use of the word "Returns" applies to materials that have been previously purchased from the Resource Centre and for various reasons are being returned to the Resource Centre for credit.
If you have materials that you wish to return, please contact us by phone in advance. Phone: (800) 839-4769
Assuming that the materials are still in their original new condition and assuming that the books are being shipped in such a way that no damage occurs in transit, and assuming that the transaction has been discussed and approved by phone, then credit will be provided for the returned materials. However we cannot give credit for the shipping costs. Under some circumstances we may not be able to approve a return. For example, books which have gone out of print may not be returned. Another example would be books that have been specially ordered and which the Resource Centre does not normally stock. Even in these cases there may be exceptions and you are welcome to discuss the situation with us.
In general please try to assess your situation as accurately as possible to minimize the likelihood of returns. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
We all know that even with the best of intentions, things don't always turn out as expected. When mistakes or accidents happen, you can be totally assured that we will correct whatever mistakes we have made, at no expense to you. If you believe that a mistake has been made, please contact us phone 1-800-839-4769; or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org). You can be fully assured that we want to make it right.

Security on the Internet
In order to prevent any unauthorized access to personal information, and to ensure proper use of the information, we have established and implemented specific physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect on-line. At the Navigators Resource Centre, we use the term 'member' to apply to
anyone who has registered and signed in. In an on-line store as in any 'brick
and mortar' store, you always have the option of just browsing and price
shopping. You have the option of purchasing products from our store whether you
register or not.
When you sign in, a "My Page" tab is created that allows you to view your past orders, saved carts, support requests and a wishlist for possible future purchases. It also makes the procedure of placing an order much quicker and easier.
If you place an order for an item that is out of stock, we will have to get more stock from our suppliers. This typically takes just a few days, and occasionally longer (1-3 weeks), if our supplier is also out of stock. We will promptly email you with an update of the status of your order and we will ask you if you would like us to wait for your out of stock items to arrive in the store, or if you would like us to ship any items that are currently in stock and then send the others separately (this will incur additional shipping costs).
Sometimes we may have only a limited quantity of a certain item available at a sale price. If we run out of stock of a sale priced item, we may not be able to get more at that sale price. In this case, we reserve the right to cancel your order, or offer you the item at regular price.
We often special order in titles we do not regularly stock. A simple and effective way to contact us is by e-mail. We will respond to your email promptly! If you have a request, please use this form to send it to us. contact page

Please email us the details of the product(s) you require or use the form on our contact page and our staff will be happy to check our suppliers and get back to you with the best possible price.

When a package is to be delivered within Canada, we will typically use CanPar as the courier of choice. However when the delivery is to a remote area, to a post office box, or an apartment building then Canada Post may be our only option and is generally an excellent choice. Speed of delivery can be dependent on the options available through CanPar and Canada Post and will vary in price.
Our experience is that CanPar will deliver to most places in Ontario and Quebec within two working days, often within one day. For locations further away in Canada, we have found that we need to allow another day for each time zone. If a package is urgently required, quicker deliveries can be arranged across Canada and overnight delivery is available to all major centres but with extra cost. Contact us or use the “comment box” during the ordering process should you have an urgent request.
Our practice is to add the cost of shipping to the total invoice (with some exceptions). Please keep in mind that shipping charges are taxable – based on the province where you reside. When you place your order, you will have the option of selecting different shipping methods, including the option to pick up your purchase from our physical location. However, assuming that you will use the default shipping method, the following guidelines are provided.
When the purchase total (before tax) is less than $69.00 the shipping charge is a flat rate of $8.50 for deliveries within Canada. If to a residence, there is an additional $2.00 charge.
When the purchase total is $69 or more (before tax) no shipping charges are assessed assuming it is being shipped to a church or business. If to a residence, there is an additional $2.00 charge.
If an item is back-ordered and currently out of stock—with your approval—we will ship the rest of your order immediately. However, there will likely be a modest shipping charge for the back-ordered title when it is shipped. We will always notify you when this situation occurs and you will have the option of canceling your order or canceling the back-ordered portion of your order.
Select a specific shipping option, click on the "Update" button to see what the shipping costs will be.

Choose Canada Post when:
your address is a box number, a rural route or you reside in an apartment building
