$100 Seed Money
Here's one idea that a small groups ministry tried. It helped small groups to creatively resource outreach within their community. The church entrusted $100 to each small group willing to use the money for an outreach project within their community. Each group was responsible to plan and implement ideas that would engage their small group with people in their community and world. One group used the funds to rent a bus and took a whole gang of neighbourhood kids (via school connections) to a youth event. One group used the funds to buy food and then prepared and served it to street people through a local ministry. Another group used the funds to purchase supplies for a mission trip that a group member participated in.
