Christians have a lifelong goal: To become like Christ.
This involves change, and change isn't always easy. But the more you know of God's
purposes for you, the more you can experience His joy and participate in His plan.
The LifeChange Series of Bible studies on books of the Bible can help you grow in Christlikeness
through a life-changing encounter with God's Word. You'll benefit in these important
ways:
You'll gain a firm understanding of the book - its historical context, purpose, structure and
meaning;
You'll apply its powerful, relevant wisdom to needs and issues you are currently working
through; and
You'll acquire personal study skills and a thirst to return to the book on your own - so you can
keep going deeper into its life-transforming truths.
Mark-
In this, probably the earliest of the four Gospels, Mark vigorously defends the claim that Jesus
was the true Messiah and that His own people, the Jews rejected Him because he came not as the
glorious warrior-king they expected but as a suffering servant. The intensity of Mark's writing
and his enthusiasm for Christ's Gospel bring us a powerful message of salvation, inspiration, and
encouragement.

The study guide is excellent with good questions provoking lots of
good discussion. There is a good range of question types. I would
recommend the study especially to groups with young Christians or
seekers wishing to know Jesus and who He is. The level of difficulty is
low so it might not be meaty enough for more mature believers. It suited
our group though which was a mix of more and less experienced
participants.
REBECCA CAMPBELL
I would rate the level of difficulty as low. I would recommend this
study for new believers since it gives a solid base of knowledge; for
people who have been Christians more than 5 years I wouldn't since I
found it rather boring and repetitive of material that I already knew.
